Intended for personnel evaluating highway hazards and participating in the potential design of road restraint installations, this course provides an improved understanding for the proactive use of the Relaxation and Departure processes in provision of the delivery of quality assured, safe highway RRS installations. Delegates attending this course will learn about the provision of correctly built Relaxation Records and Departure Submissions to permit timely actions to be undertaken and mitigate potential construction delays and user safety issues.
While this training package is targeted at those working in the Road Restraint System (RRS) sector, the principles discussed are applicable to all Departure applications.
Aims & Objectives:

- To assist the candidate with the preparation of:

- To permit timely processing of Departures through consistent and complete data delivery

Mode of Delivery:
The course will be delivered remotely via MS Teams, hosted by SMA. The primary method of delivery will be via PowerPoint with interactive discussions.
