Aims & Objectives:
How to create a Microsoft Project programme and use it to interrogate the information being provided by suppliers and subcontractors.
On completion of this course, delegates will be able to:
- Create their own programme using Microsoft Project.
- Update and re-schedule their programme using progress data.
- Challenge planning & programme data received from subcontractors.
- Track performance and forecast using s-curves and histograms.

- Introduction to Planning & Scheduling
- Creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Building an activity list and logic linking
- Identifying the critical path and understanding ‘Float’.
- Quantifying durations and measuring progress
- Resource loading and producing a histogram
- Plan v Actual s-curves
