Overview:
This two day course will provide a brief overview of the JCT 2016 family of contracts, but primarily focussing on the JCT Standard Building Contract with Quantities (SBC/Q) and practical aspects of managing the contract.

At the end of the course, participants should be able to: -
- Appreciate the structure and use of the JCT 2016 family of documents
- Understand the more important clauses of the JCT 2016 Standard Building Contract
- Appreciate the roles and responsibilities of the key parties.
- Properly run a JCT 2016 Standard Building Contract, and to deal with issues related to the contract

Day 2 - The Practice
Day 2 is a Practical Workshop based on "real life" scenarios and case studies.
Mode of Delivery:
This course consists of lectures supported by comprehensive seminar notes and group exercises, discussion and open workshop.
Intended For:
Delegates dealing with JCT contracts who require an introduction to the contract and to practically managing the contracts.
