The new Code of Practice was released in October 13, and came into force on 1st October 14. This course is a review of the code and is intended for those to safely carry out signing, lighting and guarding of street works and road works on all highways and roads, except motorways and dual carriageways with a speed limit of 50mph or more.

The aim of this course is to help those working in the public highway understand their legal requirements to sign, light and guard works correctly, and to provide an overview of the new code of practice ensuring that road works are safe for both operatives and road users.
