Parental Drug and Alcohol Misuse and its Effects on Children

As a species we have been using substances for over 2 thousand years but we struggle to comprehend the impact on children and families. This day will help to address that and look at strategies that may help.

Aims & Objectives:

This course is intended for all those whose work may bring them into contact with parents (and children of parents) who use alcohol and other drugs.

There are no pre-course requirements. However delegates must have a willingness to examine their own attitudes and beliefs, and a willingness to participate and engage in the exercises is essential.
