Buildability is the provision of construction details and materials, which simplify the construction process. Buildability should be considered at every stage of the construction process, including the construction itself, maintenance, alteration and ultimate demolition. Achieving buildability will help reduce construction costs and the likelihood of claims, and help to achieve compliance with the CDM Regulations and meet the requirements of the Egan report.
