Bridges and Highways - The Legal Provisions

Highway structures and bridges play an important part in the highway network. Maintenance of highways and highway structures is a continuing liability for a highway authority and the temporary closure of a highway to undertake repairs to a bridge can create delays and inconvenience. This course is designed to meet the needs of those involved with highway structures and will focus on the maintenance responsibility for highways and highway structures.
